Wedding at The Lighthouse Point Yacht Club

On Saturday, March 26th, 2011 I played for Michelle and Sid Berman at the L.H.P.Y.C. The evening started with a Jewish ceremony performed dockside on the terrace. The bridal party walked to "Endless Love" by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie, Michelle walked to the traditional Wedding March. After Sid broke the glass I played "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" by Stevie Wonder. Cocktail hour was a mix of Steel Pan music out on the terrace over looking all of the yachts. Then the party started with introductions of the bridal party (27 people), and the first dance "Lost Without You" by Robin Thicke. I went into a 3 song dance club mix, "Memories" by Dave Guetta, "Tonight" by Enrique Iglesias and Ludacris, and "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" by Usher. This got the 125 guests warmed up for the evening. A toast and blessing over the bread and wine was then presented by Sids father Murray Berman. After dinner everyone joined the newlyweds on the dancefloor for a traddtional Hora and from there on it was a mix of disco, Top 40, and Motown. Michelle and Sid cut their cake to "How Sweet It Is" by James Taylor and we ended the evening with "I Had The Time Of My Life" from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack and then "The Time (Durty Bit)" by the Black Eyed Peas! Thank you Michelle & Sid, the best of luck to you and hats off to Gina and her First Class staff at the L.H.P.Y.C. DJ/MC Eddie B!
